This Campsite is located in the parish of Cinco Ribeiras on the municipality of Angra do Heroismo, leaning to the Atlantic Ocean on the southwest coast of the Terceira Island, providing the privileged contact with the nature.
Its structure is registered in the port area of Cinco Ribeiras and the Cave of Five Ribeiras, known for providing conditions for diving. It´s inserted in a landscape with an horizon of sea and the mountains of Santa Bárbara on the opposite side.
The Campsite of the Five Ribeiras has the capacity to accommodate approximately 385 campers, separated and lawns, some with natural shadows. It has a lawn floor, grills, living room with TV, restaurant and entertainment.
The surrounding countryside is the characteristic green of Azores, with the vast pastures with cattle, being possible to enjoy the Serra de Santa Bárbara, an extinct stratovolcano, with about 13 kilometers diameter at the conical base and with 1021 meters high, as well, the various riversides that runs all over the parish.
There are also the Church of Santa Bárbara, a building from the XV century, the Empire of the Holy Spirit (Santa Bárbara), from the nineteenth century, the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Ajuda, the House of Romeiros and a water reservoir.
